Our commitment to being financially accessible is both real and easy to benefit from! While there are no set requirements, pay what you can and payment plan requestors are asked to keep the following in mind when completing this form:
Pay what you can and payment plans to pay between 50-100% of the set price are most likely to be approved.
All requestors are encouraged to try to pay at least $100 upfront or over time for any service.
Donations (see link below) are always encouraged by those who get a discounted service yet are later able to pay it forward after the admissions cycle or law school.
Requestors interested in a free full cycle assistance package at a reduced rate are more likely to be approved for a group coaching spot instead.

Although we are not a nonprofit (so donations are not tax-deductible) every year we provide thousands of dollars worth of free or reduced services under our “Pay What You Can” policy. As such, we would love to come in partnership with you to help sustain our ability to help clients without the means to fully (or even partially) pay for our services. Every cent counts, so thank you in advance for anything that you can give!
About Me
My name is Akiesha Anderson and I am the owner and founder of Anderson Admissions Academy (AA Academy). AA Academy was birthed out of a desire to help underrepresented minority law students navigate the law school admissions process and get admitted to top law schools.
I myself am a legislative attorney and lobbyist, as well as a former law school school admissions officer. During my time working in admissions, I served as Associate Director of Admissions for UCLA School of Law. In that role, I had the privilege of participating in practically all phases of the law school admissions process, from reviewing applications, making admissions recommendations, managing the waitlist, interviewing candidates, making scholarship recommendations, recruiting students, planning admitted student days, and more!
As a result, when I give advice about law school admissions, its from a place of expertise and knowing first hand what the deliberation process looks like from a law school's perspective.
As an Alabama native, I myself graduated from The University of Alabama School of Law, which is where I received my law degree and a certificate in government affairs. However, I transferred to UA after completing my 1L year at Faulkner Law. During my time in law school, I also received public interest awards, was active in the Southern Region of the Black Law Students Association (serving as both Attorney General, and Editor-in-Chief of SRBLSA's law journal). I also was co-chair of UA's OUTlaw chapter, and involved in numerous other activities on campus and in my community.
As someone who went to law school, years after undergrad, I also was a bit older when I started law school/ a nontraditional law student. All of these experiences, combined with my law school admissions experience, make me the perfect person to assist you!
